Solve the Mystery Incursion:
Embark on a mind-boggling adventure with Bop till you Drop’s ‘Solve the Mystery’ incursion at your Vacation Care/OSHC centre! The children will transform into mini detectives to unravel the case, where every clue leads to a discovery. With teamwork, critical thinking, and a dash of creativity, kids will dive headfirst into an immersive detective experience like no other!
What we do:
- Before the investigation kicks off, our master detective entertainer will scatter a bunch of mind-bending riddle clues around the crime scene. For this to be effective, the room cannot be empty as there needs to be areas for the clues to be hidden.
- With hidden clues waiting to be discovered, the children will need to join forces in a race against the clock to try and crack the code one riddle at a time.
- Each riddle will unravel the next clue to bring us one step closer to solving the alarming case of ‘Captain Hooks missing hand’.
- But the adventure doesn’t end there. Time-permitting, the children will then dive into a real-life rendition of the popular ‘Among Us’ game.
- For ‘Among Us’, our entertainer will set up tasks that the children need to complete for there is an imposter ‘Among Us’. The aim of the game is to finish the tasks and reveal the imposter before they terminate all their crew mates.

FAQ's
Can the incursion be completed outdoors?
For our Mystery Incursion we require a combination of both inside and outside areas as the kids will be searching for clues. If you do not have an outdoor area, we would prefer indoors for the Mystery Incursion…this incursion doesn’t work if it’s an empty space because then we can’t hide any of the clues for the children to find.
What time will the entertainer arrive?
Your entertainer will arrive 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time (this is with an allocated car spot within 20 metres from the incursion). This gives you an opportunity to ask questions, give any special requests or discuss any requirements.
When do the children have a drink or food break?
We always give the children at least a 15 minute drink break in the middle if the duration is more than 1.5hrs long. We have found that it is best to keep all the children together and give them one central time for the drink break. This will keep them energised and focused for the entire duration of the incursion. Please let us know if this is not suitable for your event.
Do I need to provide anything for the entertainer?
For the mystery incursion the only thing we require is the kids to be in a separate area while the entertainer is setting up. The entertainer will be hiding clues around the centre so it’s important that the kids don’t see that part during setup.
Do I need to provide a parking spot for the entertainer?
Yes. Your entertainer will need an allocated parking spot as close to your venue as possible. We want the incursion to run as smoothly as possible and on time. Please note you will need to pay for parking should free parking not be available. Also, please ensure you give the office clear directions on exactly where your venue is located.
What if someone hurts themselves, are you insured?
Bop till you Drop has $20 million dollars Public Liability Insurance.
Are the entertainers ‘screened’?
Yes all the staff and entertainers of Bop till you Drop have been approved by the ‘Working with Children Check’.
